Should the unthinkable happen to Baker Mayfield, the Sooners would turn over control of the offense to Cody Thomas. Bob Stoops confirmed it today during his press conference. In fact Thomas would have been the guy had Mayfield gone down in the Bedlam game.
Stoops says that Cody Thomas was backup QB for Oklahoma State game and will remain as backup for Orange Bowl.
