Clemson defensive line graduate transfer lists Sooners as finalists

The Oklahoma football team could be getting a boost on its defensive line from an unlikely source.

Clemson defensive tackle Scott Pagano graduated from the university with a degree in Sociology in December and is looking at finishing his playing career away from Death Valley.

After Pagano made his announcement on Friday, 37 programs contacted the former Tiger. But Pagano quickly narrowed that list down to seven finalists: Oklahoma, Cal, Oregon, Nebraska, Notre Dame and Arkansas. He has one season of eligibility left and he'll be able to play immediately.

Rivals ranked the four-star Honolulu native as the 22nd-best defensive tackle in the 2013 class.
