Plainview came into this week’s Class 3A boys golf state tournament at Lincoln Park West as the heavy favorite and capped things off Tuesday with another strong performance across the board to win its third consecutive title.
None of the Indians’ five golfers shot a round higher than 79 during the tournament and in Tuesday’s final round, none shot worse than a 75.
“These five guys right here, over these last two days have really laid it all out on the line,” Plainview coach Andy Bloodworth said. “I really want to give all the credit to them.
