Brent Musburger knew he wanted to be around sports from an early age.
"I wish I could've played any sport," the legendary broadcaster said Saturday as he prepared to call the next-to-last game of his storied career. "When I was a kid growing up in Montana at the age of 6, I knew I wanted to be around sports. I just liked it. I liked the games. I liked the athletes."
While Musburger will call one more game—Tuesday's Georgia at Kentucky game—but Saturday's Oklahoma-Florida game was his final game with Dick Vitale.
