Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray is about to have a big decision to make, as he's been drafted No. 9 overall by the Oakland Athletics in the 2018 MLB Draft.
Murray showed the ability to hit for average and power this season for the Sooners, and his plus-plus speed makes him an attractive prospect on the baseball diamond.
The former Allen High School star could sign with the As before fall camp begins and still play on the gridiron for the Sooners this fall. In that scenario, he would report to As camp in the spring.
Murray has as much negotiating leverage as any player in this draft, as he has two more years of eligibility remaining on the football field.
