If you were listening to Bob Stoops on the Sugar Bowl coaches teleconference Sunday evening, you might have heard some interference.
Pay that no mind -- it was just the Oklahoma coach traveling to New York City via helicopter for the College Football Hall of Fame banquet.
"I apologize about the noise. I'm in a helicopter landing in New York City," Stoops said, casually.
While verbalizing his respect for Auburn, the Sooners' Sugar Bowl opponent, Stoops explained why he was doing the teleconference from a helicopter.
"I got good buddies, you know? I'm flying to the College Football Hall of Fame banquet and landed and had a buddy that had a helicopter," Stoops said.
