NORMAN — Former OU football coach Bob Stoops, along with Constellation Brands and LaLuna Taco Taxi, hosted a Cinco de Mayo luncheon Tuesday for first responders and health care workers.
"As much as anything to honor our first responders, our police departments and all these people out here hustling, working, taking care of people — these different EMSA teams," Stoops said. "We appreciate Constellation Brands putting this on. It's been fun meeting all these guys — and I have kept my distance."
Stoops was coaching the XFL's Dallas Renegades before the league paused and eventually folded in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.
