Blake Griffin knew he wanted Oklahoma to be the home base for his foundation.
It was never a question for the Detroit Pistons All-Star power forward. When he and his brother, Taylor, wanted to find ways to give back they made their home state the priority.
Blake was the featured speaker at The Oklahoman’s All-City Preps Best of OKC Metro awards on Monday night at the Cox Convention Center. The six-time All-Star and former NBA Rookie of the Year began his illustrious career dominating the preps circuit in Oklahoma. He captured four state titles playing for Oklahoma Christian School before starring at the University of Oklahoma.
