It didn’t take long after Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops took the stage at Tuesday’s Big 12 Media Days for the subject of Joe Mixon to be brought up.
The second question asked of Stoops was on the former five-star recruit who had to sit out last season after being charged following an incident that left a female OU student with multiple broken bones in her face.
Mixon was suspended for all of last season and was not allowed to practice with the team during the suspension.
He was asked why he hadn’t separated Mixon from the program.
