On Nov. 26, 2016, Texas hired Tom Herman to be its football coach, fending off the advances of LSU and snagging the hottest commodity in college football.
Less than two weeks later, Baylor hired Matt Rhule.
Here’s guessing a sizable chunk of Longhorn Nation wishes those names were flipped.
During a week Baylor and Rhule are preparing to play Oklahoma for the Big 12 title and continuing a trend of year-over-year improvement, Herman is hunting for new coordinators. He fired his defensive coordinator and demoted his offensive coordinator on Sunday. After winning only seven games, it's hard to blame Herman for making those moves.
