Dorothy Ann Bryan’s knees are gone, but otherwise she’s in great health, which puts her ahead of the curve, considering she is 98 years old. Her mind is sharp and her memories strong. Particularly of her dad, who was born in 1875, 35 years before Americans first celebrated Father’s Day.
Tutu, as her family has called her forever, would follow her dad all over campus. He was a doting father; she remembers expressing an interest in golf as a young girl, and the next day, there they were at the sporting goods store, checking out shoes and clubs.
