STILLWATER — Top-ranked Oklahoma never gave its Bedlam rival a chance to breathe.
An hour after wrapping up an easy win in the first half of a softball doubleheader, the Sooners got back-to-back home runs from Jocelyn Alo and Grace Green in the top of the first inning, then rolled to a 6-1 win in the finale against No. 13 Oklahoma State Sunday at Cowgirl Stadium.
It concluded the series sweep, a perfect run through Big 12 play, 38 straight victories overall and 23 in a row over OSU.
Green added another RBI on a sacrifice fly in the third inning, and Nicole Mendes drove in two insurance runs in the top of the seventh.
