After Oklahoma State’s 5-1 win over Oklahoma on Saturday in the Big 12 Tournament at ONEOK Field, the Sooners’ season is likely over.
The Sooners finished third in the Big 12 but struggles in mid-week games and against TCU and Oklahoma State make it unlikely that the Oklahoma will make the field when regional pairings are released Monday.
“Feel sorry for our guys,” Sooners coach Pete Hughes said. “We have a good group of kids that play the game the right way. They’re good players that deserve to keep playing—I honestly believe that. I thought we deserved better.
