Baker Mayfield has had an award-winning 2015 season, but the Oklahoma quarterback will tell you that the only award he is interested in at the moment is the emblematic College Football Playoff Championship trophy that goes to the team that wins the final college football game of the season.
Mayfield’s name is on a number of ballots for individual honors being handed out this season, including the most cherished one of all, the Heisman Trophy. He is one of five finalists for the Walter Camp Award, which goes to the Player of the Year in college football.
