Kyler Murray made a declarative statement on Wednesday when he talked to reporters about how, “I will always stand up for what’s right.”
And that’s why the Cardinals quarterback and reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year said he vows to take a knee on game days to peacefully protest against racial injustice while calling for meaningful police reform.
“I’ll be kneeling,” Murray said during a video conference call from his home in the Dallas area. “I stand for what’s right. That’s the bottom line. I call it like I see it. What’s been going on is completely wrong.
