Here are five things Oklahoma fans can take away from the Sooners’ 56-28 victory over West Virginia on Saturday.
Oklahoma offense lights it up
By halftime, the Sooners had two 100-yard rushers and a 100-yard receiver -- a feat Oklahoma had not accomplished since the 2008 Big 12 Championship Game.
RBs Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon finished with 160 and 147 yards, respectively, against West Virginia. WR Dede Westbrook caught two balls for 100 yards, including a touchdown after he threw a Mountaineer LB.
Despite shifting into “park the bus” mode shortly before halftime, the Sooners finished with XXX yards of total offense on Saturday.
