Three Alabama players, including starting left guard Deonte Brown, did not make the trip to Miami for the Crimson Tide's Orange Bowl matchup against Oklahoma, Alabama announced on Monday.

Offensive lineman Elliot Baker and tight end Kedrick James also did not make the trip. The suspension is due to a violation of team rules. `
Brown is the only key player of the trio, and will be difficult to replace.
