One of the candidates with the best case to be included in Big 12 expansion is Houston. Not only is the school in the conference's current geographical area, but it has been on a heck of a tear in football as of late.
But former Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys coach Barry Switzer says that the Big 12 would be hurting itself if it brought the Cougars in.
"It'd be a hell of a mistake if the Big 12 allows them to come in," Switzer told the Austin American-Statesman's "On Second Thought" podcast.
