Oklahoma sophomore running back Abdul Adams' status for Saturday's game at Kansas State (3 p.m., Fox) remains uncertain.
“He's getting better,” Sooners coach Lincoln Riley said. “He's close. We're gonna have to see with that ankle how he responds this week.
"We're going to try to get him on the field and run him a little bit. As a back, that's a little different than if you were an offensive lineman or something. Part of it is safety and him being healthy enough to play, and part of it is him being healthy enough to perform at a high level where it warrants taking a Trey Sermon or Rodney Anderson out of the game.
