Here are five things to watch at Oklahoma’s spring game:
Jalen Hurts and Tanner Mordecai
Despite wholesale changes on defense, Oklahoma’s quarterback situation is the No. 1 thing to watch Friday night during its spring game. Jalen Hurts has not officially been named the starter yet, but is widely expected to earn that role before the start of the 2019 season. His performance in the spring game won’t help or hurt those odds, but continued progress on accuracy and decision making will be a good sign for the future for the Sooners.
However, there’s a good chance Mordecai will out-shine Hurts in the spring game.
