Here are three takeaways from OU’s 77-47 loss to Baylor:
Bad defense
The Sooners weren't much better on defense. Baylor got whatever it wanted on that end of the floor, shooting 54 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range. Seven different Bears scored at least seven points, with Makai Mason leading the way with 12. Mark Vital also had a major impact, totaling eight points, 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Worse offense
Baylor zone defense stifled Oklahoma all night long, and the Sooners never made any significant adjustments. Lon Kruger’s squad made just 15 field goal attempts on 27 percent shooting.
