Welcome back to yet another edition of our 2019 Countdown to Kickoff series! With 54 days left until the official return of the Oklahoma Sooners, today’s a great day to reflect on Kyler Murray’s remarkable 2018 season as he accounted for an FBS-best 54 touchdowns.
Coming into the season, while most figured Murray would have a strong campaign, hardly anybody predicted he’d have the kind of statistical run that he went on. From the opener against FAU, his very first TD should have been an omen to all who bore witness to it that big things were on the horizon for this dual-sport dual-threat.
