2019 NFL Draft: Former Oklahoma Sooners OT Cody Ford selected 38th overall by Buffalo Bills

With the No. 38 overall pick in the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills have selected former Oklahoma Sooners offensive tackle Cody Ford. The AFC East organization has been in need of a stronger O-line unit, and its first pick of the draft’s second day is a great step in the right direction.

After the Bills’ 2018 unit struggled protecting rookie QB Josh Allen, Buffalo has signed six offensive linemen through free agency since the season ended. Even considering that, Cody Ford is talented enough to lock down a starting spot on Day 1.
