The Oklahoma Sooners are hot in pursuit of rising 2017 three-star Newberry (FL) defensive tackle Cory Durden, but they have even more stiff competition on Durden's offer sheet.
Florida State offered Durden following a camp showcase on Friday -- an addition that Durden referred to as his "dream" offer.
That could prove troublesome for Oklahoma, as Florida State is now considered to be the far-and-away favorite to land his pledge. Durden has nine offers in total, joining the fray with the likes of Miami, NC State and Florida.
Durden is currently ranked as the #16 strong-side defensive end in the nation, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Regardless, Durden projects to be a defensive tackle at the next level.
