After a one year absence, the Oklahoma Sooners are back in the College Football Playoff with their sights set on a national title. Some experts are expecting them to lose to Georgia in the Rose Bowl, but we know better than that. Here are three reasons why Oklahoma is guaranteed to win on New Year's Day:
1) Baker bleepin' Mayfield
Mayfield - the Heisman Trophy winner - led the nation in quarterback rating (203.8) and completion percentage (71.0) this season while finishing second in passing yards (4,340) and touchdown passes (41). Led by Mayfield, Oklahoma led the country in total offense (583 yards per game) and ranked fourth in points per game (44.9) while winning the Big 12 for the third consecutive time. He has met and easily passed every test he has faced this season and is determined to cement his legacy with a national championship.
2) Georgia's one-dimensional offense
Georgia really won the SEC in spite of having Jake Fromm as their quarterback rather than because of him. Yes, he played great for a true freshman, but the Bulldogs rank just 111th in the country in passing yards per game. Expect Oklahoma to load up on the line of scrimmage and force Fromm to beat them - which he won't be able to do.

3) More proven team
The Sooners have been tested as much as anyone this season, winning three games against ranked teams away from Norman. On the flip side, Georgia only has two such wins - one of which came over an Auburn team that soundly beat them in their first matchup. That experience will come in handy for Oklahoma.
