Oklahoma Sooners starting quarterback Trevor Knight will miss his second-straight game on Saturday against the Kansas Jayhawks as he continues to work through a neck injury suffered in OU's loss to the Baylor Bears.
Per Kevin McGuire of NBC's College Football Talk, "it is undetermined at this time whether or not Knight will be available for the annual Bedlam game against Oklahoma State, but it is always best to play it safe when it comes to college football injuries."
Knight sustained the injury in the fourth quarter of the game against Baylor, having to be stretchered off the field by medical personnel. As a result, he missed last week's victory over the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
With Knight sidelined, Oklahoma will continue with Cody Thomas as the team's starting signal caller. Thomas threw for 133 yards and rushed for 103 yards against Texas Tech, rallying the team to victory and looking comfortable while doing it.
