After the Oklahoma Sooners' 59-14 dismantling of the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday, senior tight end Blake Bell had nothing but great things to say about his quarterback, Trevor Knight.
“I see a guy who is getting better each and every game," Bell said, via Jason Kersey of NewsOK.com. He struggled here and there, but he’s going to be awesome. He’s a great quarterback and you guys can see he’s finding the right targets to throw to, he’s pulling it down and running — he made some great runs today — and making the right reads.”
While Knight has struggled at times during the 2014 college football season to maintain consistency. That was still on the case on Saturday as Knight threw two interceptions to go with his three touchdowns and 230 passing yards.
However, with his legs always a huge factor (16 carries for 146 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's romp), Knight can afford a hiccup here and there thanks to his dynamic skill set and ability to produce.
