There are very few guarantees when it comes to the game of football, but when it comes to the Oklahoma Sooners' road game against the Kansas State Wildcats this week, we've found an exception to the rule. Here's 3 Reasons Why Oregon Is GUARANTEED To Beat Washington.
1. Offensive Fireworks
The Sooners were held in check last week, but this is still an offense that sports an unfair amount of offensive weapons. QB Baker Mayfield, WR Sterling Shepard and RB Samaje Perine lead an explosive Sooners attack who's going to have their ears pinned back after last week's struggles.
2. OU Knows What They're In For
Bill Snyder-led squads have troubled Oklahoma teams before with a conservative run, run and run some more approach. They haven't deviated from that this year, rushing 44 times a game for an average of 180 yards. Oklahoma was gashed for 313 yards by Texas last week, so of course the K-State running game is cause for concern. However, OU has been able to gameplan all week for KSU's conservative approach and should be able to tighten the screws a bit after last week's debacle.
3. They're Mad
Beware talented teams coming off of embarassing losses. Oklahoma's defeat last week still stings, but you've got to believe that Bob Stoops has drilled the importance of bouncing back into every one of his players' skulls. They'll be ready, especially since things still line up where OU can make the College Football Playoff if they can somehow win out.
