We're in the beginning stages of the 2015 NBA free agency period, and the Oklahoma City Thunder are one of the most intriguing teams out there when it comes to the wheelings and dealing on the market. Here's a snapshot of their current free agency plans.
Anthony Morrow Reassures The OKC Faithful
The Thunder shooting guard has been the subject of may a trade rumor over the past couple weeks, but Morrow doesn't want to leave OKC if he can help it.'
"Just want to let yall know, I'm not a free agent lol I'm still here with OKC, hopefully for a long time. #ThunderUp," Morrow tweeted on Wednesday. Morrow average 10.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game for the Thunder in 2014-15.
Enes Kanter, Thunder Discussing Max Deal
Per a RealGM report, "Enes Kanter — the Oklahoma City Thunder’s top free agent — has plans to meet with the franchise in Chicago on July 1, the two sides targeting an early contract completion, league sources told RealGM."
"The Thunder and Kanter are expected to discuss three- and four-year contract sheets that could reach maximum-level money with incentives, sources told RealGM," the report added.
Kanter was an absolute beast for the Thunder's frontcourt upon being traded from Utah in the middle of the season. He finished with averages of 15.5 points and 8.9 rebounds in 28.5 minutes per game between his time with the Jazz and Thunder.
