Will the Thunder need Kyle Singler vs. Houston?

We interrupt the Russell Westbrook Amazement tour to offer this public service announcement. The playoffs are this coming weekend. The Thunder is headed to Houston. And Thunder fans, you better sit down.

Jerami Grant is going to play. Maybe a lot. And Kyle Singler is going to play. He’s going to have to.

The Thunder’s 106-105 victory over Denver on Sunday will be remembered for Westbrook’s record-breaking 42nd triple double, the Thunder’s remarkable comeback from 14 points down with 5:20 left in the game and Westbrook’s 36-foot game-winner at the buzzer.

But the immediate impact of the Nugget game is that it reminded everyone of two things: 1) the Thunder has to play small against some teams, which means more Grant on the floor; and 2) Singler isn’t a lost cause.
