The Thunder’s 107-100 victory over the Lakers in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday night was not a thing of beauty.
Combined 39.6 percent shooting. Combined 24.1 percent 3-point shooting. Combined 61.9 percent foul shooting.
This was not a case of one team playing well and the other team playing poorly. This was a case of the Thunder being the Thunder.
OKC is 37 games deep into the season, almost halfway through the 82-game schedule, and we need to start realizing that this is what the Thunder is.
A mediocre offensive team. An elite defensive team.
