HOUSTON — To the victor go the spoils?
That’s the question that everyone was hoping to have answered going into Sunday’s marquee match-up between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets.
Depending on whom you ask, the race for the NBA MVP award, outside of LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard, is a close race between two players: James Harden and Russell Westbrook.
Naturally, voters and basketball fans nationwide were hoping the game would offer up an emphatic epiphany: would the last regular season game between the two determine, once and for all, who should take home the Maurice Podoloff Trophy?
