TORONTO -- Russell Westbrook was in transition and had a clear path to the rim. The NBA fans inside the Air Canada Centre knew how Russell Westbrook typically handles those situations, so there was an audible gasp of anticipation as he entered the lane. At the last second, however, Westbrook decided against a monster dunk, opting instead to bounce the ball off the backboard, into the waiting hands of Kevin Durant, who slammed the ball through the hoop, eliciting an eruption from the crowd.
That was one of the many highlight plays that the Thunder’s All-Star pair connected on throughout the night as they represented the Western Conference as starters.
