The Pacers were trying to come back. Jerami Grant and Russell Westbrook did not allow it.
Westbrook faded away into a left-post jump shot which fell through with 35.8 seconds left, rocking imaginary babies in his arms all the way back to the Thunder’s bench. Before that, however, he set the table for Grant to continue a 3-point binge which has continued since the All-Star break.
In the Thunder’s 107-99 win against the Pacers, the Thunder received contributions from the gamut of starters, but arguably none were more important than Grant’s all-everything game and Westbrook unlocking his teammates to lift OKC after its worst performance of the season.
