After practice much of last season, Anthony Morrow enlisted an assistant coach to navigate him through a post-workout shooting routine. At each stop around the perimeter, Morrow received a dart pass chest-high and never dipped his shoulders, catching and shooting in one rapid but fluid motion.
After a little while, he started implementing that quick-trigger 3 into games, speeding up his already quick release to warp speed. At this point, he's nearly perfected it. Here's a look at the release, used twice this past Monday night in the Thunder's blowout of the Jazz:
