I write a lot about lineups when it comes to the NBA. Mostly the Thunder lineups.
But as the Thunder season sits on the edge of a cliff – Game 5 of Thunder-Jazz is Wednesday night, with Utah capable of closing out the series – maybe it’s time to look at the other side.
And the Jazz’s starting lineup has been phenomenal in this series.
The quintet of Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert, Joe Ingles, Donovan Mitchell and Ricky Rubio has played 68 minutes together. It has outscored the Thunder 167-132 during that time.
That’s a ratio of 118-93 per 48 minutes.
