Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant are two of the greatest players in NBA history; that much is for sure. The two superstars combined for 76 points on 28-of-48 shooting tonight in a 123-119 loss. But the rest of this Oklahoma City team doesn’t look like they want to win a damn basketball game. Barring heroics from the two best friends, the Thunder would have lost by 14 rather than four, and the score wouldn’t have reflected how poorly the team played.
Offensively, Serge Ibaka is nowhere to be found, hesitant to shoot the three he spent so much time working on and flat out bricking wide-open mid-range jumpers (although he did take it strong to the rim a few times tonight).
