The ping-pong table was on the top floor of Terrance Ferguson's three-story apartment, and most days he'd climb the stairs, put on some music and pick up a paddle.
More often than not, the weather outside in Adelaide, Australia, was “super perfect,” Ferguson said, and he soaked up his share of sun. But frequently you'd find him in his game room, tunes turned up loud, serving and returning alone to a wall.
“It was pretty boring,” Ferguson told The Oklahoman this week. “I actually had a fun time doing it, but I'd think about it and I'm by myself, hitting a ping-pong ball all alone and I'm thinking, ‘This is, like, an all-time low for me.
