HOUSTON – When the Thunder made Terrance Ferguson a facilitator in Summer League, his statistics immediately suffered for it. But halfway through the season, that experiment started to show up in a positive way on the stat sheet.
“I definitely think it translates to how I’m playing now, especially with my assists,” Ferguson said Saturday afternoon. “Finding the open player, finding the better shots for my teammates and things like that.”
He and his teammates had just wrapped up shootaround at Toyota Center ahead of the Thunder’s third meeting of the season with the Rockets.
