Look at the box score of the Thunder-Hawks game Tuesday night in Atlanta, and it seems like the Thunder defense got lost in the luggage at Hartsfield Airport.
The Hawks shot 62.2 percent from the field and beat OKC 142-126. Sixty-two percent. That’s an abomination in and of itself. The Hawks made 18 of 37 3-pointers.
Never before had the Thunder allowed as many as 45 points in a quarter. Then the Thunder allowed that many twice in one night.
But in truth, the Thunder defense was OK for awhile. Not OK. Really good.
