Thunder Wants More of Tuesday's Selfless, Downhill Basketball

Much like a football team running the no-huddle, the Thunder was simply rolling from one play to the next on Tuesday night in Memphis. Without hesitation, each defensive stand sent five men racing down floor to their spots, with Russell Westbrook utilizing space and movement on the floor to get simply pick the easiest pass to an open man.

The result was a 125-88 victory on the road against what has been traditionally one of the better defensive teams in the NBA over the years. While the shooting percentages might not always look so kind every single night, there’s something to be said about the type of shots the Thunder was able to generate by attacking the rim and dishing to open shooters all night.
