Dion Waiters tracked the play the entire time, and as he saw Kevin Durant and Steven Adams pressuring James Harden at the top of the key, he waited for his moment to strike. Harden lobbed a pass to Dwight Howard on the block, but Waiters darted over, knocking the ball away into the hands of Russell Westbrook, who was fouled and knocked down two free throws to ice a 111-107 win over the Houston Rockets.
“I just wanted to get a stop,” Waiters said. “Most importantly, I was trying to get my hand on the ball and make a play.
