NBA players vividly remember their high school playing days, but on Sunday, they’ll get a chance to re-live those times.
The eighth-annual Blue and White Scrimmage will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Newcastle High School, giving new Thunder head coach Billy Donovan, the staff and the Thunder players a chance to get back into the type of atmosphere that helped originally cultivate their love for the game.
The open practice that also includes several Thunder game-night features, such as Rumble the Bison, the Thunder Girls, Thunder Drummers and Storm Chasers. Prior to the scrimmage, the team will hold Thunder Alley starting at noon outside the school, where fans will be able to enjoy the OG&E ThunderBolt, pop-a-shot, sport court, the Thunder merchandise trailer and appearances by Thunder entertainers.
