Thunder suspends Deonte Burton for one game

The Thunder is suspending Deonte Burton for one game, the team announced Friday.

Burton will serve his suspension, for “conduct detrimental to the team,” Friday in the Thunder’s game against the Timberwolves.

Burton is averaging 2.8 points in 8.4 minutes per game this season. His playing time has increased in the last two weeks while Hamidou Diallo has been out with a hyperextension sprain in his right elbow.

The Thunder is even more short-handed at the wing position Friday, with Terrance Ferguson listed out due to right hip soreness.
