DENVER — All of the Pepsi Center shouted in unison as the offensive rebound popped out to the perimeter, the ball swung and Nick Young was eyeballing a 3-pointer.
Russell Westbrook tried his mightiest to get out to Young's 3-pointer. It was hard to discern if the yell was “P” (for his nickname Swaggy P) or “THREE,” but they meant the same on this Friday night, the Thunder's rebounding shredded for the second consecutive game, its defense flaky, its consistency on offense missing against a paint-packed Denver defense.
Most of the night, the Thunder couldn't get out of its way enough to make any consistent push at Denver in a 109-98 loss.
