Thunder center Steven Adams did his best to imagine playing an NBA game in an empty arena. As ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday night, that decision could be reached as soon as Thursday due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s kind of like if you’ve been to an abandoned town, right?” Adams said. “How you know that this once was a very lively place, and you expect it to be quite lively, and there’s just no one around. And so you kind of get that eerie kind of feel.”
Adams turned to a Thunder public relations official.
