The Oklahoma City Thunder sign veteran Nazr Mohammed to a contract for the rest of the 2015-2016 season.
Mohammed has played on 8 teams in his career, including a stint with Oklahoma City from 2011 to 2012. He appeared in 23 games last season, averaging 1.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 5.6 minutes per game.
The Thunder created an extra roster spot by trading D.J. Augustin and Steve Novak while only acquiring one player (Randy Foye) in return. Mohammed may not provide much in the way of on-court production, but he will add another veteran presence to the locker room.
