Thunder Romp in Nation’s Capital, Crush the Wizards 134-111

Unlike Thursday’s come-from-behind victory against the Hornets, the Oklahoma City Thunder left little to chance on Friday night in Washington D.C. After erasing an early 10-point deficit, the Thunder got rolling and finished the first quarter with a 35-30 lead. The entire OKC offense caught fire shortly thereafter — outscoring the Wizards 44-20 in the second and effectively putting the game away before halftime.

The Thunder shot 15-of-23 in the second quarter — including a perfect 11-of-11 from Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Jerami Grant, and Steven Adams — en route to a 79-point first half that featured 22 assists and a blistering 9-of-16 effort from downtown.
