Newly-acquired Thunder forward Patrick Patterson has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and will be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks, the team announced Thursday.
The timetable for recovery should have Patterson available for Thunder training camp, which starts Sept. 26, but depending on his rehab he'll probably see a conservative workload coming off the procedure. The Thunder's first preseason game is Oct. 3 in Tulsa against Houston.
The 6-foot-9, 230-pound Patterson is projected to start at power forward following the trade of Domantas Sabonis to Indiana. Patterson signed a three-year, $16.4 million contract with the Thunder on July 11.
