Oklahoma City, Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 – The Oklahoma City Thunder, through a partnership with the Thunder Cares Foundation and Kia Motors America, dedicated a new outdoor basketball court on Tuesday outside the Boys and Girls Club of Norman at Center for Children and Families. Thunder players Steve Novak and Kyle Singler took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremonythat included 25 children from the Boys and Girls Club.
The Thunder blue court will offer kids from the recently opened Boys and Girls Club a place to keep fit and fuel their love of basketball.
“We are thrilled to be part of bringing a new basketball court to this community and adding to the experience for kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Norman and Center for Children and Families,” said Christine Berney, vice president of Community Relations for the Thunder.
